my other favorite place for a poboy is Parkway Bakery at 538 hagan ave, new orleans 70119. they are a very very close second place for a roast beef or shrimp poboy.
other favorite sandwich spots include DiMartino's at 1788 carol sue ave terrytown, la 70056 , Stein's at 2207 magazine st new orleans, la 70115, or The Butcher at 930 tchoupitoulas new orleans, la 70130 all have really great muffalettas and The Butcher has a great pulled pork as well, so good!

another great dessert spot is Creole Creamery at 4924 prytania new orleans, la 70115 which has some of the best and creamiest ice cream. they also have some great flavor combinations. if the Saints are playing, you will find the black and gold flavor that is a true favorite.
