we stopped for gas on the way back to LA and decided to drive down to the beach and just hang out for a couple minutes ... it was so beautiful. [i caught Ash in quite a few shots, so i thought the post could be a mini ode to her and her trip to visit! thanks for visiting Ash, can't wait for the next time you come!]

dinner date with some of favorite people at Taka in san diego. awesome sushi! we joked that we would make the 2-3 hour drive just to eat here again! then we went to a few bars, got to see the firework show after the padres and dodger game and finished the night on the rooftop bar of our hotel. the next morning we had breakfast at cafe 222, which was also very good. then we hung out on the water, drove around a little (found this awesome house with tons of really great succulents pictured below), and then drove back to LA. tt was so great to see kelli, if even just for a short while.

busy weekend

had a very busy weekend preparing for Ashley to get here on thursday [so excited]. ran a ton of errands and went shopping at the grove. where i got this kate spade watch with my birthday money. thank you family!
